I am getting errors when trying to move data to my Xbox One U32 Shadow external hard drive.
Make sure that you are logged in to your Xbox Live account. If you are not, the system will not allow data to be moved to an external hard drive.
Also, make sure the most recent system update has been installed and that there is sufficient storage space available on the drive.
If problems persist, it is possible that a faulty cable is to blame. If the drive is appearing in the system storage settings, the problem may be due to the USB cable not making contact on the 3.0 side. If it is only making contact via USB 2.0, the drive will still mount, but you will be unable to move content to it. A replacement cable may fix the problem.
