When a RAID array becomes "read-only" in SoftRAID
Here are some ways to remedy the issue:
- Reboot the computer. It is possible the issue will be resolved after a restart. If not...
- Open SoftRAID and select the RAID volume, then click Volume > Validate. This may take a couple hours to complete. If that does not solve it...
- Run Disk Utility > First Aid. If that does not solve it...
- Purchase Disk Warrior. Use it to rebuild the volume. This will most certainly solve the issue.
