Thunderbolt in Windows 10 with ASUS motherboards

There may be additional steps required in order to activate Thunderbolt functionality when installing a Thunderbolt expansion card in an ASUS motherboard in conjunction with Windows 10. According to feedback from an Oyen Digital customer:

"I have an ASUS X99-AII motherboard which is compatible with the ASUS ThunderboltEX II card. Thunderbolt support is disabled in the BIOS by default and you need to tell the BIOS which PCIe slot the Thunderbolt card is plugged into."

This may not apply to all ASUS motherboards and Thunderbolt expansion cards.
