Can I use bus power with an eSATA hard drive?

eSATA does not provide bus power; therefore, an eSATA hard drive will require a power source in order to function. However, the Oyen Digital MiniPro drives with eSATA (EN3) come with both an AC power supply and a cable that allows the drive to be powered from a eSATA/USB combo port.

We also have an eSATA bus power cable available for purchase, which allows the drive to be powered via eSATAp (power over eSATA).
