Download the setup utility to identify your bays and format your Fortis USB4 enclosure.

How to install

  1. Download and open the .pkg installer, then follow the prompts.
  2. On first launch, grant Full Disk Access when asked (System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access) — this lets the app read and format the enclosure. Re-open the app after granting.
  3. Connect your Fortis USB4, launch the app, and follow the on-screen steps to format.

  • macOS 12 (Monterey) or later
  • Fortis USB4 5-bay enclosure
  • Thunderbolt 4/5 connection
