The Oyen Digital HBU3MAC 2-port ExpressCard USB 3.0 for Mac adds two USB 3.0 ports to your 15-inch or 17-inch MacBook Pro for SuperSpeed USB 3.0 connectivity! Featuring an NEC host controller chipset, the card supports transfer rates up to 5Gbps, while still providing connectivity and support for USB 2.0 (480Mbps) and USB 1.1 (12Mbps) devices. Up to 600 mA of bus power is provided via the two ports for maximum compatibility with USB 2.0 and 3.0 portable devices. In addition, a DC to USB y-cable is included, which allows supplemental bus power to be provided to the card for greater power availability. Install the HBU3MAC USB 3.0 ExpressCard/34 adapter into your MacBook Pro's Express Card slot and experience the lastest in USB 3.0 speeds!

  • Supports Express Card/34mm slot on MacBook Pro 15" or 17" (with ExpressCard slot).
  • Requires Mac OSX Version 10.6 to 10.9.2 Mavericks); also compatible with Windows XP and higher. NOTE: For compatibility with Mavericks, you must remove the driver and reinstall it after updating to Mavericks. To remove the driver, use the removal utility found under the Drivers tab.
