The DataTale TQ-M12H external hard drive provides quadruple interfaces: eSATA, USB2.0, FireWire 400, and FireWire 800, for maximum connection flexibility. The durable aluminum casing with edged design helps to prevent sliding and to stabilize positioning.
The HDD spin down feature ensures efficient operation by reducing power consumption. When your computer enters sleep mode, the hard drive spins down to minimize power consumption. The hard drive spins up automatically when the host system wakes up.
Finally, the open-back design is especially suitable for efficient cooling and easy HDD replacement.
Important Note: Windows 2000, XP & MAC OS 10.2 (& older) do not support partitions larger than 2TB+ or higher. In order to support 2TB+ partitions, you must use Windows Vista, 7, or Mac OS 10.3 or higher. Please note that Windows XP 64-bit and Windows 2003 support 2TB+ when using USB & eSATA, but are limited to 2TB when using FireWire.
