The following accessories are available:

The drive includes either NTI Shadow 4 for Windows ($39 retail) or NTI Shadow for Mac OSX ($39 retail). The software is not required in order to use the drive. Features include the following:
- Real-time backup with bi-directional sync
- Ability to create password-protected encrypted partitions (Windows version only)
- Continuous data protection and scheduled backups

The DataTale TQ-M12H external hard drive provides quadruple interfaces: eSATA, USB2.0, FireWire 400, and FireWire 800, for maximum connection flexibility. The durable aluminum casing with edged design helps to prevent sliding and to stabilize positioning. The unit is equipped with the industry's best Oxford 934 chipset, which is qualified for use with many professional audio and video software applications.

The HDD spin down feature ensures efficient operation by reducing power consumption. When your computer enters sleep mode, the hard drive spins down to minimize power consumption. The hard drive spins up automatically when the host system wakes up.

Finally, the open-back design is especially suitable for efficient cooling and easy HDD replacement.
